Tang Rui and his delegation studied the historical evolution and development status of the Chinese New Village and expressed the hope that the Chinese new village would make full use of local characteristics and advantages, strengthen its own development, actively promote tourism cooperation between China and Malaysia and be a facilitator of China-Malaysia friendship.

Li Jixiang, councilor of Xingumao District, thanked Minister Tang Rui for his visit and said that he would make active efforts to promote the development of the new village and contribute to the friendly cooperation between Malaysia and China. The two sides also exchanged views on education, economic and social development of local Chinese.
