Malaysia-china General Chamber of Commerce: Encourage Malaysian enterprises to settle trade in RMB
The Malaysia-China General Chamber of Commerce (McHam) is encouraging local businesses to make good use of the bilateral currency swap agreement and settle transactions in RMB to reduce transaction costs, as the surging US dollar has impacted the ringgit and import trade. The Malaysia-China General Chamber of Commerce also called for further increasing the bilateral currency swap line in the future to promote regional financial stability.
