The Malaysian Supreme Head of State will soon visit China
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that China and Malaysia have a long history of traditional friendship and are good neighbors and good partners with mutual assistance and win-win cooperation. This year marks the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic ties and the Year of China-Malaysia Friendship. Chinese Premier Li Qiang paid a successful official visit to Malaysia in June, injecting new impetus into the development of China-Malaysia relations.
Lin Jian introduced that the visit of Supreme Head of State Ibrahim is his first visit to countries outside ASEAN after taking office. Premier Li Qiang will meet with Supreme Head of State Ibrahim.
Lin Jian said that China is willing to work with Malaysia to take this visit as an opportunity to continue the traditional friendship, deepen the docking of development strategies, expand mutually beneficial cooperation, further enrich the connotation of China-Malaysia comprehensive strategic partnership, and push for new achievements in the building of China-Malaysia community of shared future.
