Malaysia uses artificial intelligence to fight fake news online
The Malaysian Communications Ministry has officially launched the "Sebenarnya.my Chatbot" intelligent chatbot program, known as "AIFA", which aims to combat false information and enable users to verify the authenticity of information online.
At the launch ceremony, Malaysian Communications Minister Fahmi said AIFA will play a key role in three important areas: first, to help the public quickly and easily verify and obtain accurate information; The second is to speed up the response to online false information; The third is to strengthen the role of "Sebenarnya.my" in tackling the spread of fake news in Malaysia.
AIFA is administered by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and is accessible to users at any time. It is available in four languages: Malay, English, Chinese and Tamil to ensure easy access for different groups.
