The Kunming University of Science and Technology Malaysia Institute of Technology has been approved
Kunming University of Science and Technology announced on May 14 that the Kunming University of Science and Technology Malaysia Institute of Technology, a joint venture between the university and the University of Technology Malaysia, has recently been officially approved by the Ministry of Education of China.
Kunming University of Science and Technology Malaysia Institute of Technology will achieve approval and enrollment in the same year. In the first year, students majoring in Electrical Engineering and Its Automation and Engineering Management will be recruited, and they will be trained under a "4+0" dual-credential model. By 2026, one master's program in Electronic Information (Artificial Intelligence direction) will be recruited, and students will be trained under a "3+0" dual-certificate model.
Students who meet the admission requirements of Kunming University of Science and Technology and the University of Technology Malaysia can register for student status at both universities simultaneously. Students who meet the graduation conditions of both universities can obtain the academic and degree certificates of Kunming University of Science and Technology as well as the degree certificate of the University of Technology Malaysia at the same time.
