The Zheng He Cultural Center of Malaysia was officially inaugurated and established at the Malaysian
China News Service, Kunming, March 18th (Luo Jie) - A reporter learned from the Zheng He Research Association of Yunnan Province on the 18th that the "Heart Connection - Yunnan Tour" Malaysian Zheng He Culture Corner (hereinafter referred to as "Zheng He Culture Corner") was officially inaugurated recently at the Malaysian Technical University in Malacca, becoming a new platform for cultural exchanges between China and Malaysia and for carrying forward the spirit of Zheng He.
The Zheng He Culture Corner houses 155 volumes of Chinese and English books on Zheng He, works by famous artists, and a 1:100 "Zheng He Treasure Ship" model. Special exhibits from the hometown of Zheng He in Yunnan, such as Jianshui Purple Clay Pottery, Pu'er Tea Cake, and small coffee beans, are also displayed there. The culture corner has also integrated the practical achievements of Yunnan's Zheng He culture research and campus culture promotion, becoming an important window for local university students to learn about ancient Chinese maritime culture and experience the local customs and culture of Yunnan.
