Chinese Stomatological Association donates medical equipment to Sittwe General Hospital in Myanmar
On January 26, the ceremony of donating oral CBCT equipment to Sittwe General Hospital in Rakhine State of Myanmar by the Chinese Association of Stomatology was held at Shangri-La Hotel in Yangon. This is the first large-scale professional dental imaging equipment in the history of Rakhine State.
The UEG oral CBCT equipment donated by the Chinese Society of Stomatology to the Sittwe General Hospital in Rakhine State, Myanmar, is a professional dental imaging equipment independently developed by Shanghai UEG Medical Technology Group. It can collect different energy spectrum images and reduce metal Artifact, ultra-large field of view imaging, is currently one of the most advanced oral imaging equipment in the world, worth about 120,000 US dollars. Yu Guangyan, chairman of the Chinese Stomatological Association, said at the donation ceremony that China and Myanmar are cooperating in many areas under the "Belt and Road" initiative. The Chinese Stomatological Association hopes to work with the Myanmar medical community to promote the common development and prosperity of the two countries' dental medicine.
