The cross-border trade volume of China-Myanmar border lane island passage reached 150 million yuan
In the first two months of 2023, 80,000 tons of goods and 150 million yuan of cross-border trade volume were imported and exported through the lane island corridor along the China-Myanmar border, according to Ruili entry-exit Border Checkpoint on Monday.
The Landao Passage is located in Landao Town, Ruili City, Yunnan Province, across the river from Nankham, the major town of Myanmar. It is an important land passage for China's trade with Myanmar. Since the implementation of the "Class B and B pipe" policy after the novel coronavirus infection, the cargo lifting mode has been cancelled in the lane island corridor, and the cross-border transport mode of vehicles has been adopted. Under the "passenger-stop-cargo pass" mode, 200 vehicles and 2,600 tons of customs clearance goods can be inspected every day. Among them, the import goods are mainly charcoal, silica, sand and so on, while the export goods are mainly general merchandise and chemical fertilizer.
