According to the Chinese Embassy in Myanmar, on March 23, on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, the Myanmar government held a grand celebration reception and an exhibition on the achievements of the Special Fund for Lancang-Mekong Cooperation in Nay Pyi Taw. Myanmar Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Aung Tin Aung, Minister of Foreign Affairs Than Sui and ministers of 12 executive ministries and commissions of the Lancang-Mekong Project including the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture attended the meeting. Ambassador Chen Hai attended the meeting and delivered a speech. About 200 representatives from the diplomatic envoys of Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia and relevant departments of Myanmar attended the meeting.
