307 suspects of cross-border electricity fraud were handed over to the Chinese side
According to the news on the website of the Ministry of Public Security of China on August 21, in order to continue to further promote the special action to crack down on Chinese telecom network fraud crimes in northern Myanmar, further eliminate criminal dens and arrest personnel involved in fraud, the Ministry of Public Security of China recently deployed the Yunnan provincial public security organs to carry out border police law enforcement cooperation with relevant local law enforcement departments of Myanmar. A total of 307 Chinese suspects were arrested for cross-border telecom fraud, including 20 fugitives online. At present, all the suspects have been handed over to the Chinese side, and the crackdown has achieved another major success.
