The construction of the Darla Bridge in Myanmar has been completed and is now closed.
Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, October 10th - China Civil Engineering Group Co., Ltd. announced on October 10th that the main bridge section project of the Dala Bridge in Myanmar was held a completion ceremony on that day.
On that day, the last batch of concrete was precisely poured into the mold. Thus, the main structure of the bridge was fully completed, and the project construction officially entered the final stage of finishing the ancillary structures, laying the foundation for the completion and delivery by the end of the year.
The main bridge of the Dala Bridge has a span of 370 meters, with a side span of 160 meters. It is equipped with 80 pairs of stay cables. The bridge adopts a spatial double-spar system layout, with a two-way four-lane design. It is the largest-span, highest bridge deck clearance, highest tower column, deepest pile foundation double-tower double-spar prestressed cable-stayed bridge in Myanmar. It is also the second major bridge constructed by China Civil Engineering Group in Myanmar after the Ding Yin Bridge.
