Indonesian Deputy Governor of East Java Province, Amir, Vice Mayor of Tangerang City, Iswar, Vice Mayor of Solok City, Astril, Vice Mayor of Malang City, Ali, Permanent Honorary Chairman of the Indonesian Chinese Peace and Unity Promotion Association, Lin Wen Guang, President of the Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Sun Shangbin, and several university presidents including those from Alangga University and others, as well as representatives from the local political, religious organizations, think tanks, media, Chinese-funded enterprises, overseas Chinese, Chinese language teachers, and international students, totaling over 500 people, attended the event.
Deputy Governor of East Java Province, Amir, warmly congratulated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and welcomed Ye Su as the new Consul General. He positively evaluated the friendly relations between the two countries and the practical cooperation achievements at the local level, expressing that East Java Province, as the second-largest province in Indonesia's economy, has a profound foundation for friendly cooperation with China.
