"Memory of the World Heritage" Fujian Overseas Chinese's Photo Exhibition Held in the Phil
On the 9th, the Fujian Provincial Archives and the Federation of Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines jointly organized the "Memory of the World Heritage" Fujian Overseas Chinese Relations Photo Exhibition on the first floor of the General Chamber of Commerce Building in Manila, Philippines.
With the theme of "A Hundred Years of Transnational Cross-Strait Books", the exhibition is divided into 4 parts: "To make a living and go to the oceans", "Who in the cloud will send a brocade book", "Family letters are sealed for ten thousand gold", and "The memory of the world will always flow. Set up archive pictures to reproduce the historical process of the emergence, development, prosperity and decline of overseas Chinese batches, and show the precious cultural value and historical significance of overseas Chinese batch files.
It is reported that overseas Chinese batches have the characteristics of authenticity, uniqueness, irreplaceability, rarity and completeness. As a precious folk document, it is different from ordinary letters. The overseas Chinese batch covers the political, economic and cultural exchanges between the hometown of overseas Chinese and other parts of the world, and integrates the historical records of Sino-foreign business exchanges, postal transmission, postal delivery, finance and exchange. It is a historical letter that has not been deliberately carved by later generations and is highly praised as China's "20th Century Dunhuang Document".
