"Philippine-china Agricultural Cooperation to a new level"
By the end of 2022, the Chico River Irrigation Project funded by the Chinese government and undertaken by China Industrial International Engineering Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "China Industrial International") will be completed. The project will provide a long-term and stable irrigation water source for about 8,700 hectares of land in the main "Northern Granaries" producing area, benefiting more than 5,000 local farmers. "The cooperation between the Philippines and China in agricultural irrigation will benefit more people in the Philippines," said Eduardo Gulen, executive director of the National Irrigation Authority of the Philippines.
