The Philippine Investment, Economic and Trade Policy Exchange Conference was successfully held in Manila on the 15th. Philippine UnderSecretary of Trade and Industry Rudolph, Philippine Assistant Secretary of Trade and Industry Penaranda, Philippine Assistant Secretary of Energy Katpung, Minister Counselor-General of the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines Yang Guoliang, President of the Association of Chinese Enterprises (Philippines) Hu Xinquan attended and delivered speeches.
Rudolph said that the Philippines is rich in nickel ore as well as wind and solar energy resources. He hoped that Chinese enterprises could see the value of investment in the Philippines and look forward to cooperating with Chinese enterprises in the fields of new energy ore, solar and wind energy.
Penaranda said that the Philippine market has huge potential and bilateral economic and trade cooperation enjoys broad prospects. Chinese enterprises are welcome to expand investment in the Philippines, and the Philippine government will continue to improve the business environment and provide support for the development of Chinese enterprises in the Philippines. The Philippines will actively participate in international exhibitions held by China such as the CIIE.
