2018 China-ASEAN International Automobile Rally arrives in Singapore

The 2018 China-ASEAN International Car Rally and China-ASEAN Media Car Rally, after passing through China, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Malaysia, arrived at the last stop in Singapore on the 18th to compete with passion and speed with karting.

    The 2018 China-ASEAN International Car Rally and China-ASEAN Media Car Rally will take the new international land-sea trade route as the route. It will depart from Lanzhou, Gansu, China on October 31, passing through Xi'an, Hanzhong, Chongqing, and Guiyang, Guizhou. After arriving in Nanning City, Guangxi, and leaving Vietnam from Guangxi Youyiguan. The rally racing team then passed through Hanoi, Vietnam, Vientiane, Laos, Khon Kaen, Bangkok, Chumphon, Hat Yai in Thailand, Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru in Malaysia, and finally arrived in Singapore. The race lasted 20 days and traveled 10,000 kilometers.


    Xie Qiang, the commander of this tournament and deputy director of the Sports Bureau of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, said in a speech at the closing ceremony of the event that the rally will give full play to the international exchange function of sports events and the role of “sports+” to promote the international community. The in-depth cooperation between Guangxi, Guizhou, Chongqing, Gansu and other western provinces (municipalities) along the new sea trade channel and Singapore and other ASEAN countries has signed cooperation agreements in sports and donated sports equipment in the passing countries.


    Xie Qiang said that with the joint efforts of all the participating team members, the team has completed all competition tasks and related activities. It is of great significance to sail to ASEAN with the friendship of the Chinese people and return with the friendship of the people of ASEAN countries.


   Zhang Guoyao, President of the Singapore Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Association, has participated in the 10th China-ASEAN International Automobile Rally. He said that every time he joins the China-ASEAN International Automobile Rally, he feels fresh and he can meet many new "la friends". The most important thing is that there are new gains every time. "If I am invited next year, I will continue to participate."
