Singapore hosts Digital Finance, Financial Inclusion and Social Impact Investing Forum
The fifth Annual Conference of the Singapore Management University (SMU) Shen Kee Man Institute of Financial Economics and the "Digital Finance, Inclusive Finance and Social Impact Investment" Forum was held on June 6 and 7. The forum was jointly organized by Shen Jiwen Institute of Finance and Economics and China Europe International Business School. During the forum on June 6, many experts from the industry and academia had in-depth discussions on hot topics such as financial innovation and Internet finance.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the forum, Rajendra K. Srivastava, Vice President of Singapore Management University, said that digital finance, Internet finance and electronic money have brought shocks and challenges to the industry, but also provide investors and financial institutions with more profit opportunities. "In this sluggish but liquid market environment, investors and financial institutions will be able to take advantage of the fruits of the digital revolution to earn higher returns on equity."
