The China-Singapore Connectivity Project marks its 10th anniversary
The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the implementation of the China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Connectivity Demonstration Project (hereinafter referred to as the China-Singapore Connectivity Project). Chongqing and Singapore will accelerate the development of landmark achievements and promote the upgrading of cooperation in more areas.
Officially launched in November 2015, the China-Singapore Connectivity Project is the third government-to-government cooperation project between China and Singapore after the China-Singapore Suzhou Industrial Park and the China-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City. It covers four key areas of cooperation, namely financial services, aviation, transport and logistics, and information and communication.
In 2025, Singapore and Chongqing will jointly formulate and publish the overall development plan and special plans for key areas of the China-Singapore Connectivity Project from 2026 to 2030, and accelerate key projects such as the Chongqing-Singapore cross-border e-commerce digital financial service platform, Chongqing East Railway Station International Medical Complex, Nanyang Technological University Chongqing Research Institute, and Life Science and Technology City. And landed a number of new landmark cooperation achievements.
