This "individual-led, government-supported" model has transformed the skills improvement of workers from "passive arrangement" to "active planning".Starting from May 2024, the Singaporean government has also launched the "Skills for Success Advanced Program", providing an additional 4,000 Singapore dollars in training subsidies to Singaporeans aged 40 and above who are in the middle of their careers, to support them in obtaining substantive re-skilling and capability enhancement.
