The China-Singapore connectivity project will focus on two major areas
Chongqing, November 10th (Reporter Liu Xianglin) From a press conference held by the Chongqing Municipal Government Information Office on the 10th, it was learned that in the next stage, the China-Singapore Interconnection Project will mainly focus on two areas: digital economy and green development. It is aimed to become a new model for international cooperation in digital rules and green development by 2030.
The China-Singapore (Chongqing) Strategic Interconnection Demonstration Project (referred to as the China-Singapore Interconnection Project) is the third government-to-government cooperation project between China and Singapore. This year marks the 10th anniversary of its implementation.
Chang Yongwu, the director of the Chongqing Municipal Commerce Bureau and the director of the Chongqing-Singapore Demonstration Project Administration Bureau, said at the press conference that over the past 10 years, the China-Singapore Interconnection Project has cumulatively signed 347 government and commercial cooperation projects worth 26 billion US dollars, and has cumulatively achieved 21.7 billion US dollars in cross-border financing. Both sides have explored and formed 33 pioneering and highly recognizable institutional open results, successfully establishing a new pattern of "point-to-point" connection between China (Chongqing) and Singapore, and driving "face-to-face" cooperation between the western region of China and ASEAN countries.
