Thai polls: most popular for the Thai party and its leader

The results of a poll published by the National Institute of Development and Management (NIDA) on the 26th showed that Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, chairman of the Thai Party’s Election Strategy Committee, is the prime minister of choice among Thai voters. The current Prime Minister Prayut ranked second.

"Bangkok Post" reported that the survey showed that Kunying’s approval rate reached 25.5% and Prayut’s 24.1%; the future Kadima leader Tanathon ranked third with 14.5% approval rate, and the Democratic Party leader Abhisi 11.7%. Fourth place.

When asked which party they most hope to win the most votes in the coming general election and become a core member of the next government, 31.8% of the respondents choose the Thai Party, followed by the Thai Minister of Industry and support the military government. Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), which has a support rate of 19.9%. The support rates of the Democratic Party and the Future Kadima Party are 17% and 15.6% respectively.

The result of the poll is a great comfort to the WTA party, because many members of the party have recently switched jobs to the PPRP party, which has greatly hurt WTA's vitality. The PPRP party has already expressed its support for Prayut's participation in the next general election and the re-appointment of Prime Minister.

Thailand's general election is tentatively scheduled to be held on February 24 next year.
