    Wang Yi said that China-Thailand relations are showing a good momentum of development, with close high-level exchanges and close cooperation in various fields, bringing tangible benefits to the people of the two countries and making the "China-Thailand family relationship" more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. In the new year, China is willing to strengthen communication with Thailand, make plans, deepen cooperation, accelerate the pace of China-Thailand railway cooperation, realize the completion of China-Laos-Thailand railway at an early date, actively expand tripartite cooperation, and promote greater development of China-Thailand relations in the new era. .


    Wang Yi congratulated Thailand on taking over the ASEAN chairmanship. He believed that under the guidance of Thailand, the construction of the ASEAN community will achieve new development and the relationship between ASEAN and China will also reach a new level. China will actively support Thailand in fulfilling its chairmanship, and is willing to steadily advance the "South China Sea Code of Conduct" (COC) consultations with all ASEAN parties, complete the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) negotiations as soon as possible, and accelerate the process of East Asian economic integration. Jointly resist unilateralism and trade protectionism.


    Tun said that Thailand is willing to maintain high-level exchanges with China, deepen economic and trade cooperation, actively promote the construction of the Thailand-China railway, and expand various forms of tripartite cooperation under the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative". As the new ASEAN chairmanship, Thailand is willing to play an active role in advancing the construction of ASEAN and the development of ASEAN-China relations, and is committed to promoting the completion of RCEP negotiations during the term, jointly maintaining regional peace and stability, and promoting regional prosperity and development.
