Chinese logistics service provider launches express delivery business in Thailand

China Best Group officially launched its express delivery business in Bangkok, Thailand. Zhou Shaoning, chairman of the group, said that in the next 5 years, 5 billion baht (approximately RMB 1.04 billion) will be invested in Thailand for the construction of warehousing and operation centers and the establishment of technology research and development teams.


   It is understood that Best adopts self-built express distribution centers and terminal network joining methods to cover the express delivery business throughout Thailand. In addition to store pickup and delivery, it also provides free door-to-door delivery, collection, and insured express delivery services. At present, Best has established 4 operation centers, more than 70 regional outlets and more than 500 stores in Thailand, and plans to increase the number of stores to more than 2,000 within the year.


   Zhou Shaoning told Xinhua News Agency that he hopes to improve Thailand's logistics infrastructure level and promote the development of Thailand's cross-border logistics through Best's advantages in technology, management, transportation resource coordination, automation applications, and intelligent supply chains.


   He said that the logistics network allows Thailand's high-quality products from remote areas to quickly reach consumers, especially Chinese buyers, to realize the exchange of Chinese and Thai products, which not only solves local product network sales problems, but also facilitates consumers.


   Best Group stated that Southeast Asia, with a population of more than 600 million, has become an emerging market for e-commerce in recent years. It has developed rapidly and has a large market space. It is the next key area for the group after entering North America.
