Thailand will expand the international promotion of agricultural products
Officials of the Thai Ministry of Commerce said that it will expand the international promotion of Thai agricultural products, and actively negotiate with 19 countries on fresh fruit and preserved fruit export trade cooperation to ensure that the total export volume in 2024 is not less than 300 billion baht, and the total amount is expected to be 4.27 million tons.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Ben Tan said that in order to cope with the impact of local trade protection measures, the Ministry of Commerce will carry out targeted negotiations and cooperation to expand Thailand's agricultural products, especially fruit/preserved fruit and other high value-added products. Among them, buyers from 19 countries have been invited to see the products and negotiate business. For example, exporting pomelos, bananas and mangoes to Japan.
