Thailand promotes "Trustworthy Thailand" certification
Manatee, Thailand, November 13th (Reporter Li Yingmin, Zhao Jingnan) The Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Thailand and the Thailand National Tourism Administration jointly launched the "Trustworthy Thailand" certification program in Bangkok on the 13th.
It is introduced that this project is a long-term initiative launched by the Thailand National Tourism Administration to enhance tourism safety and service standards. It not only focuses on improving the institutional framework but also helps to shape Thailand's safe and trustworthy tourism image. The participating tourism institutions need to undergo assessment in four aspects, including comprehensive safety measures, transparent and secure electronic payment systems, multilingual services and professional tourist reception capabilities, as well as safe and convenient transportation routes with clear guidance. It is estimated that about 5,000 hotels, restaurants, scenic spots, shopping centers and entertainment venues across Thailand will participate in the assessment. Enterprises that pass the certification will receive promotion support from the Thailand National Tourism Administration in domestic and international channels, and the certification period is two years.
The Director-General of the Thailand National Tourism Administration, Tapenee, said, "The 'Trustworthy Thailand' project is not only a tourism quality standard, but also reflects the common mission of the public sector and the private sector to jointly promote Thailand to become a safe, high-quality and trustworthy tourist destination."
