   The Workers’ Party of Korea, government and cadres of armed forces wish Kim Jong-un a successful second DPRK-US summit and talks and return home safely.


   In addition, the Korean Central News Agency also confirmed that during Kim Jong Un’s visit to Vietnam, the top leaders of the two countries will hold meetings and talks.


   According to previous reports, Kim Jong-un’s visit to Vietnam was the first time the North Korean leader set foot in Vietnam after his grandfather Kim Il-sung visited Vietnam in 1964.


   On January 31, 1950, North Korea and Vietnam formally established diplomatic relations. In the 69 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Kim Il Sung visited Vietnam twice in 1958 and 1964. Vietnamese leaders also visited North Korea twice: in July 1957, Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh led a delegation to visit Pyongyang; in October 2007, Nong Duc Manh, then General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, visited North Korea.
