    Nguyen Xuan Phuc conveyed the cordial greetings from General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and the President of the State to Xi Jinping and congratulated the People's Republic of China on the great achievements it has made in the past 70 years since its founding, especially in the 40 years of reform and opening up. Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that Vietnam and China are close neighbors and share a common socialist cause and common development goals. Vietnam is committed to promoting the sustained, healthy and stable development of the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership, and supports China in making greater contributions to the peace and prosperity of the region and the world. Vietnam has long supported the "Belt and Road" initiative and is willing to strengthen the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" and the "Two Corridors and One Circle" plans, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in a wide range of fields, and promote regional development. Vietnam is willing to work with China in accordance with the consensus of both sides to manage maritime issues so as not to affect the overall development of bilateral relations.
