In the first two months of this year, the operation of China-Vietnam freight trains increased by 56%
On Feb. 29, the X9101 China-Vietnam train departed from Nanning South Railway Station in South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, carrying machinery, equipment, chemicals and other goods to An 'an Station in Vietnam. Since the beginning of this year, the cross-border railway freight transport between China and Vietnam has maintained a high level of operation with a significant increase. According to the statistics of China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., LTD., in the first two months of this year, the China-Vietnam freight train opened 25 lines and sent 600 TEU of goods, an increase of 56% and 35% respectively, and the cross-border cargo transport between China and Vietnam continued to be hot.
In order to better serve the economic and trade exchanges between China and ASEAN countries, Nanning Bureau of China Railway will accelerate the construction of modern railway logistics system, promote the gradual transformation of China-Vietnam railway from trunk transportation to full-process logistics services, vigorously carry out cross-border transport logistics general contract business, continuously optimize the cargo handling process, improve the quality of the train operation, and provide transport capacity guarantee for the growth of Sino-Vietnam import and export trade.
