Bilateral trade between China and Vietnam has exceeded 200 billion U.S. dollars

He Yadong, spokesman of China's Ministry of Commerce, said that in recent years, bilateral trade has developed rapidly and investment cooperation between China and Vietnam has achieved remarkable results.

From the perspective of bilateral trade, China is the largest trading partner of Vietnam, and bilateral trade volume has exceeded 200 billion US dollars for three consecutive years, reaching 145.07 billion US dollars in the first seven months of 2024, an increase of 20.9% year-on-year. China is also the largest export market for Vietnamese agricultural products. Durian and dragon fruit from Vietnam are very popular among Chinese consumers. China's agricultural imports from Vietnam account for about one-fifth of the total agricultural imports from ASEAN.
