China-vietnam border 'Flag village' draws tourists
Located in the border of China and Vietnam, Longbang Town, Jingxi City, Guangxi Province, Hulong village Paigan Tun, every household is hanging a bright five-star red flag. In the 800-meter-long commercial street, more than 20 Vietnamese specialty shops are operated, and Vietnamese cutting boards, coffee, nuts and dried tropical fruits, slippers and other products are popular with tourists.
Ma Yuanbo, secretary of the Party General branch of Huolong Village, introduced that in recent years, the village has improved infrastructure construction, implemented civil house renovation, water supply and power supply, drainage and sewage, road hardening, green lighting and other projects, with a total investment of more than 20 million yuan. The local government has also promoted the construction of the Longbang Port, Guomen Square, Guomen Town and other projects, guided border residents to participate in cultural tourism development and border trade and transportation in an organized and planned way, and carefully built border tourist streets to become a beautiful scenery on the border and promote the development of small commodity trade between China and Vietnam.
