According to the Vietnam News Agency, Liang Qiang introduced Vietnam's development strategic goals set for the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party and the centenary of the country's independence. He reaffirmed Vietnam's high importance placed on its relations with Russia and its consistent support for Russia's active and constructive role in the region and globally. He stated that Vietnam is willing to promote cooperation between Russia and ASEAN, with the aim of further deepening bilateral relations. Liang Qiang welcomed Russian enterprises investing in Vietnam in new fields such as industrial park construction, pharmaceuticals, information technology and digital technology.
