President Halimah meets with Brunei Crown Prince Bilah

Brunei Crown Prince Bilah and his wife were invited by President Halimah and husband-in-law Mohammed to have a tea ceremony at the Presidential Palace yesterday afternoon.


    Bilach was also accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Security Coordination Zhang Zhixian yesterday morning to visit the "Sky Tree" landscape in Gardens by the Bay. Accompanying Bielah to visit Gardens by the Bay were Minister of Manpower Yang Liming, Minister of Environment and Water Resources Ma Shangao, Senior Minister of State of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Defense Dr. Meng Liqi, and Senior Minister of State of Ministry of Communications and Information, Dr. Pujeli.


    At the invitation of Zhang Zhixian, Bilach led a delegation to visit my country for eight days starting on the 28th of last month. Premier Lee Hsien Loong hosted a luncheon at the Presidential Palace last Wednesday to entertain Bilach and the members of the delegation.


    Bilah, who is also a senior minister in the Prime Minister's Department of Brunei, also participated in the 6th "Young Leaders Mutual Visit Program" during his visit to Singapore. He previously visited Tiffana College, the Employment and Function Training Center of the National Trade Unions in Jurong East, the Bus Training and Review Center for training bus drivers, and the Wavelink Maritime Academy for training seafarers to learn about my country’s lifelong learning, Projects implemented in terms of worker training and skill upgrading.


    The Minister of Communications and Information Yi Huaren will go to Brunei for a two-day visit starting today.
