ASEAN holds the 2nd Senior Officials Meeting of the 52nd Conference of Ministers of Economy
On June 8, the 2nd Senior Officials Meeting of the 52nd ASEAN Economic Ministers' Meeting was held by video. The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economics of Brunei, Mei, served as the chairman, and representatives of ASEAN member states and the ASEAN Secretariat attended the meeting. The meeting discussed the issues raised by the first senior economic officials meeting, including accelerating recovery from the regional epidemic, promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth in ASEAN, promoting digital development, and using new technologies to build a "safe, secure and coordinated e-commerce environment and Digital Ecosystem" etc. The meeting also exchanged views on strengthening the economic relations between ASEAN and China, Canada, India, Japan and other dialogue partners.
