Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Xiao Jianguo visited Hokkien Huay Kuan
On March 23, Xiao Jianguo, the new Chinese Ambassador to Brunei, visited Brunei Hokkien Huay Kuan. He had a discussion and exchange with Lin Hanzhang, Honorary Chairman and Advisor of Hokkien Huay Kuan, Lin Guoqin, Legal Adviser of Hokkien Huay Kuan, current Chairman Fang Yanhe, and other vice chairmen and directors of Hokkien Huay Kuan, listened to the introduction of the history of Chinese entrepreneurship and the building of the Huay Kuan, and visited the historical Museum of the Huay Kuan.
Xiao spoke highly of Brunei Hokkien Huay Kuan's positive contributions to gathering local Chinese strength, inheriting Chinese culture and promoting cultural, economic and social development, as well as its important role in strengthening China-language economic and trade pragmatic cooperation and people-to-people exchanges.
