Brunei is committed to improving its tourism services to attract international tourists
Salina, director of the Tourism Development Department of Brunei's Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, said recently that Brunei is working hard to improve the development level of the tourism service industry, and it is expected that by 2026, international tourists entering by air can reach 400,000 per year, which is expected to bring 300 million Brunei yuan (about 1.6 billion yuan) revenue for Brunei's tourism service industry.
According to Brunei media reports, the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism of Brunei recently held an award ceremony for the representatives of Brunei's tourism industry who won the "ASEAN Tourism Standards" award. Sarina said: "In order to achieve these development goals, we are working closely with our partners to explore new markets and launch new and better travel services. One of the key initiatives has been to organize the tourism Service Provider Development Workshop program to help the tourism service industry increase the value of its products, instill confidence in tourism services, and provide tourism service providers with the resources they need to improve their services for tourists."
