On August 15, 2024, Charge d 'Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Brunei Wang Haitao was invited to attend the Award Ceremony of Outstanding Students of the University of Brunei 2024 and presented the "Chinese Ambassador Award" to six students. He also had friendly exchanges with the event's guest of honour, Minister of Transport and Information and Communication Shamkhali, Attorney-General Noor Hasima, Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister's Office Sufi An, Vice President of the University of Liberal Arts Hazri and award-winning students.
