Brunei has decided to grant 14-day visa-free entry to Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports
According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, on February 6, during the Sultan of Brunei's visit to China, the two sides issued the Joint Statement between the People's Republic of China and Brunei Darussalam on Deepening Strategic cooperative Partnership and Promoting the Building of a Chinese-language community with a shared Future.
In the statement, Brunei thanked China for implementing the unilateral visa-free policy for Brunei citizens holding ordinary passports for a stay of no more than 30 days. China welcomes Brunei's decision to grant 14-day visa-free entry to Chinese citizens holding ordinary passports. The two sides believe that these visa-free arrangements will continue to enhance personnel exchanges between the two countries in the fields of tourism, culture, business, education, transportation, health, sports, infrastructure and sister cities. Brunei welcomes more Chinese tourists to visit, which will help enhance mutual understanding and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
