The Chinese Ambassador to Brunei meets with the Secretary of Brunei's Ministry of Education
On March 4, Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Xiao Jianguo met with the Permanent Secretary of Brunei's Ministry of Education, Azman, for friendly exchanges on strengthening cooperation in the field of education between the two countries, according to the Chinese Embassy in Brunei. Counsellor Shi Rongke of the Chinese Embassy, Acting Director General of the International Department of the Ministry of Education of Brunei Ahmed and other officials attended the meeting.
Xiao spoke highly of the fruitful achievements made by the two sides in education, humanities and other fields, and expressed willingness to continue to work with Brunei to actively implement the Beijing consensus of the two heads of state and the joint statement issued by the two sides, expand more cooperation and achieve more achievements in education and other fields.
Azman thanked the Chinese side for providing support and assistance to the training of cultural professionals and promoting the economic and social development of the cultural sector. They expressed their willingness to continue to work together in inter-school exchanges, school-enterprise cooperation and basic education to inject new impetus into the high-quality development of bilateral relations.
