Cambodia election: Orderly scene Voters cast their ballots peacefully

Cambodia's 7th National Assembly election took place on July 23, with 18 political parties competing for 125 seats in the National Assembly. This is also the seventh parliamentary election since 1993, and more than 9.7 million eligible voters across the country will cast their votes to determine the new government leaders and members of parliament who will lead the country forward for the next five years.

On the morning of the same day, the reporter visited a number of polling stations in Phnom Penh, observed that there were police officers outside each polling station to maintain security order, and staff carefully checked the identity of voters and guided voters to vote on their own. Since the official voting began at 7 a.m. on the same day, the flow of people to and from the polling station was continuous, but not congested, and the scene was orderly.
