Vietnam and Cambodia promote economic and trade cooperation
On December 12, Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hung Nyan held a working group discussion with Cambodian Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul and Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation Hem Vandy, who were accompanying Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manay on a visit to Vietnam.
Speaking highly of the significance of Prime Minister Khon Manay's visit to Vietnam, Minister Nguyen congratulated Ministers Cham Nimo and Han Wandi on their appointment as new Cambodian ministers from August 2023. It is believed that the two ministers will support the promotion of Vietnam-Cambodia economic and trade cooperation to make it commensurate with the good-neighborly friendship, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term stable relations between the two countries.
The two ministers spoke highly of the recent efforts of the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote Vietnam-Cambodia economic and trade cooperation, and stressed that they will do their utmost to support the enhancement of trade between the two countries.
