"The Contemporary World" (Cambodia edition) held the inaugural ceremony
On March 26, Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian attended the launch ceremony of the Cambodian edition of the Contemporary World. Special Representative of Cambodian Minister of Information Naipadra and State Secretary of the Ministry of Information Qing Ling, President of Cambodia-China Friendship Youth House Jin Liet Ti, President and Editor-in-Chief of the Contemporary World Magazine Lyu Xuejun and Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia Wu Chuanbing attended the ceremony.
Wang said that 2024 is the Year of people-to-people and Cultural exchanges between China and Cambodia. The two sides successfully held the launching ceremony of the year at the beginning of the year and achieved remarkable results. The publication of the magazine for the first time in Cambodia is another important achievement of expanding cooperation and promoting exchanges between China and Cambodia under the framework of the Youth House, and an important measure to deepen people-to-people exchanges between China and Cambodia. It is believed that the magazine will become an important window for Cambodian friends, especially young friends, to understand China and the Communist Party of China.
