In the first 10 months of this year, tickets to Angkor, Cambodia, took in nearly $36 million
In the first 10 months of 2024, Cambodia's Angkor Wat, Koh Ker and Chong Khlias gate receipts totaled nearly $36 million, representing a 29.07% increase year-on-year.
According to a press release issued by the Angkor Agency on November 1, 774,203 foreign tourists bought tickets for Angkor Wat and Gong Khai Temples in Cambodia from January to October 2024, an increase of 28.48 percent year-on-year. Ticket revenue of $35,987,961 was achieved, an increase of 29.07% compared to the same period in 2023.
It is reported that in 2023, more than 790,000 foreign tourists purchased Angkor tickets, earning $3,7198,988, an increase of 222.68%.
