Cambodia's Minister of Tourism attends a summit of tourism ministers in Berlin, Germany
On the afternoon of March 5, Cambodian Minister of Tourism Khuha attended the summit of Tourism ministers held in Berlin, Germany. The summit brought together tourism ministers from 24 countries and leaders from several other countries, bringing the total number of participating countries to around 50.
The main purpose of the Tourism Ministers Summit is to bring together tourism ministers and policy makers to discuss in depth the key challenges and opportunities facing the tourism industry in light of current tourism trends and the global situation. At the conference, participants stressed the importance of peace in promoting tourism investment and sustainable development, and explored important topics such as the role of tourism in contributing to global peace-building and conflict resolution.
In addition, the summit discussed how to maintain the stability of tourism investment in the context of geopolitical and economic instability, highlighting in particular the importance of World Tourism Day in promoting international cooperation and dialogue through tourism.
