The President of the National Assembly of Cambodia led a delegation to attend the World Peace Summit
On the morning of April 11, 2025, Cambodian National Assembly President Khon Sothali led a high-level delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the 2025 World Peace Alliance Global Summit and the Conference of Speakers of Nations (ISC) held in Seoul, South Korea.
According to Cambodia's national television, this meeting is an important platform for international parliamentary diplomacy, with representatives from the legislative bodies, executive bodies, civil society and the private sector of 114 countries participating.
This Speaker's meeting has laid the foundation for establishing an inclusive international order featuring mutual understanding and common prosperity. This conference is a unique platform where parliamentary leaders can directly address regional challenges, share legislative experiences and work together to achieve common goals. All parties attending the meeting unanimously agreed that addressing global challenges requires the establishment of strong international partnerships and deepening cooperation with international organizations such as development banks and United Nations agencies.
