The inaugural flight of Cambodia Angkor Air's Shenzhen - Phnom Penh route was a success.
The Phnom Penh Post reported that Air Cambodia's flight K6926 took off from Phnom Penh International Airport at around 9:30 p.m. on July 10th. After about 2 hours and 30 minutes of flight, it successfully landed at Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. The flight then carried over a hundred passengers back to Phnom Penh International Airport, marking a successful maiden flight. The launch of the Shenzhen-Phnom Penh route by Air Cambodia indicates the high importance and strong interest of the Royal Government of Cambodia and its flag carrier in connecting with Shenzhen, a major aviation hub and economic center in China.
