The "2018 Laos Biogas Promotion Technology Overseas Training Course" hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of China and undertaken by the Biogas Science Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a pilot promotion ceremony in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, on the 14th.

　　 The overseas training course on biogas promotion technology in Laos is a human resource training program for China's foreign aid, and has been held in Laos for two sessions. A total of 100 trainees participated in this training course. Under the guidance of Chinese experts, Lao students built an 8-cubic-meter brick-concrete structure household biogas digester by themselves.

　　 Biogas is a kind of clean energy. The climate and aquaculture conditions in Laos are very suitable for the development of household biogas. Through the dissemination and guidance of biogas technology, the trainees learned that biogas technology can not only replace part of the living energy, reduce the logging of forests, but also effectively kill pests and eggs in livestock and poultry manure, produce safe organic fertilizer, and reduce emission of greenhouse gases.
