Southeast Asia Tower Corporation signed a contract with Laos Boding Special Economic Zone to help it
On the evening of the 16th, the "Southeast Asia Tower Company and Laos Boding Special Economic Zone Signing Ceremony" was held in Boding on the China-Laos border. In the future, Southeast Asia Tower will fully deploy the infrastructure network of the Boding Special Economic Zone in accordance with the agreement to help it build a smart city.
Boding Special Economic Zone is located in Nantha Province, Laos, close to the Mohan Port in Yunnan, China. It is a national land port city from Laos to China, the Laos gateway to the Kunming-Bangkok International Passage, and the first station of the Trans-Asian Railway Midline into Laos. As an important cooperation project in the construction of the "Belt and Road", Boding Special Economic Zone is committed to building the special economic zone into a new hub city in the China-Laos-Thailand Economic Corridor and the northern economic center of Laos.
Zhou Kun, chairman of the Boding Special Economic Zone Management Committee, introduced that the special economic zone has completed the construction of some infrastructure and core projects, and the investment promotion work is proceeding in an orderly manner. However, according to the planning and positioning of the special zone itself, the layout of communication infrastructure is extremely important.
In recent years, the construction of smart cities with informatization and intelligence as an important support has become the frontier trend of the world's urban development. A series of innovative IoT application products such as unmanned delivery, smart light poles, smart manhole covers, and automatic fire warnings are all in the future city planning of the Boding Special Economic Zone, and these are the main business of Southeast Asia Tower Company .
Established in 2018, Southeast Asia Railway Company is the first overseas investment project of China Tower. As the controlling shareholder of China Tower, as early as the beginning of its establishment, it expressed its determination to bring the development model of resource sharing and facility sharing to Laos and accelerate the construction of communication infrastructure in Laos.
Liu Bo, general manager of the Southeast Asia Tower Company, introduced that after the signing of the agreement, the Southeast Asia Tower will start with the most basic network laying, and on this basis, it will work with the special economic zone to promote the construction of smart cities from information operations.
Liu Bo said that the project is the first overseas comprehensive project of Southeast Asia Tower. "I hope this project can become a "benchmark" for us and lead our products to more Southeast Asian countries in the future."
