Since the opening of the China-Laos railway, the cargo transport volume has been increasing month by month, and the accumulated cargo transport has exceeded 10 million tons.

Up to now, 25 provinces and cities in China have operated China-Laos cross-border freight trains. The daily operation of the railway has grown from one pair per day in the early days to six now, and the cross-border transport capacity of China-Laos railway has been continuously improved.
