At that time, the China-Laos railway will implement a new train operation diagram, and the international passenger train running time from Kunming south to Vientiane will be reduced by more than one hour.
In order to further improve the quality of train operation, Kunming Bureau of China Railway cooperated with customs, border inspection and other departments to improve and optimize the customs clearance process, prompting the entry and exit time from the previous 1.5 hours to 1 hour, and the whole customs clearance time only takes about 2 hours, which is more than 1 hour shorter than before. After the compression, the full running time of the China-Laos railway international passenger train was compressed from 10 hours and 30 minutes to 9 hours and 26 minutes, and passengers from Kunming South and Vientiane station took the bullet train in both directions, and they could reach the destination city before dinner on the same day.
