Cambodia's growing trade with Laos has boosted its economy
The private sector is optimistic about the potential growth in trade, investment and tourism between Cambodia and Laos, following the commitment of the leaders of both countries to strengthen economic and tourism ties and the resumption of direct flights between Vientiane and Phnom Penh by the Lao national airline.
Cambodian Prime Minister Khon Manay recently visited Laos to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in line with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
At a joint press conference on March 25, the two leaders expressed their commitment to advancing bilateral relations in various fields and signed a number of agreements.
